Hispanic Pastor Desires to start a coalition of Individuals Interested in exploring/brainstorming ways to minister to the Hispanic/Latino Community

Hello amigos:

I am sharing with you my desire to start a coalition of churches, pastors and individuals willing to step out in faith and explore ways to meet the needs of the growing Hispanic/Latino Community within the Tennessee Conference.

Maybe I am not the one to start ministries right now but together we can! At the bottom there are listed some ideas for a WeCare Coalition.

Please suggest changes or ideas you would add to the document and I invite you to join me in the effort to bring racial reconciliation to our Conference and start moving forward instead of backwards in these
ministries.

Are there any days that you can come to Cookeville and meet and talk about it? Please let me know......and please let's start moving!! ok...

Sincerely and in His Grace

The WeCare Coalition

WeCare Coalition is a group of churches, pastors and individuals who care about the needs of the Hispanic/Latino Community in the Tennessee Conference of the United Methodist Church and would like to explore ways to help this growing Community. It will work in concert with and in support of other bodies within the Conference currently working in the same area.

We believe that the Grace of God is for everybody and it doesn't matter of the race, language or status.

We believe that the only way to bring true transformation is through the suffering power of Christ in the cross.

We recognized that we are broken and we need Him constantly.

We believe in racial reconciliation because is what Jesus taught us through his life. We care about building good relationships between the races living in Tennessee.

We are here to plan, develop and carry on the growth of Multicultural
Churches and to encourage others to get educated about other cultures living in our State.
